    Superb

Ashling House B&B was a great choice for our family of 5. We got two rooms at a very reasonable price. The B&B was VERY clean. The beds were comfortable, and it was a convenient location. It was 11 minutes from Dublin airport and close to public transportation. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

The breakfast provided was only continental.

    Exceptional

We had access to the garden, which was very pretty. Everything was very clean and quiet. The room was light and airy. The bus stop was right outside and buses were very regular. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Wifi is only available in the public areas.

    Superb

The owner Padraig was extremely helpful and courteous to us. He explained clearly how to get around Dublin the problems that we might encounter and it gave us confidence. Nothing was an inconvenience to him.

Asked for a quiet room when made the booking and got an appalling room no 11 which is just off the kitchen with the c/c machine right beside its door so the noise woke us up right at 7am on Sunday morning, on top of that you get the view overlooking 2 rubbish bins and more noise from breakfast room and the ventilation system too...made a complaint to the owner who was was very rude handling the complaint asking us to leave immediately as he decided not to charge us for the stay(75 euro room only). Not a great experience at all.

landlady was friendly and helpful, great location and quite cheap for one night in Dublin

I had asked for a double room and got a twin. But my least favourite thing was the room temperature. Very cold room (even with windows shut and radiator on AND double duvet)

The location was wonderful. Stephanie was so helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and we had the large suite and it was clean and roomy and opened onto a back patio with a yard. It was right by bus stops, though a bit away from town. Busses get you all over so no problem. Breakfast was cold cereals, packaged oatmeals, juice, breads. It was a wonderful stay.

    Nothing.

we have enjoyed our stay in Ashling House .Everything was perfect the owners and the staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed confortable. The breakfeast were good and plently of choice. Well situated 10 min by bus to get downtown and a few minutes walk from a nice choice of good restaurants. And for last very close from the airport 20 min most. .

Convenient to airport and on bus route to city.

The b&b is located close to the airport and very close to the main buses which can bring you to the city centre or to the airport.

The room N.1 is quite noisy because its window overlooks a busy road. Breakfast officially starts at h 8 A.M. It is possible to have it before helping oneself with a more limited choice of drinks/food. This is not convenient for business travellers who need to have breakfast early in the morning. Tourists shouldn't have problems with this.

    Fabulous

Padraig was very helpful both prior to and upon or arrival at Ashling House b&B. He provided easy directions to the b&b and made our travels throughout Dublin painfree. Breakfast was a basic continental with a good variety of choices. Staff were helpful and ensured there was enough for everyone. Also as relatives were staying in thick of Dublin and had complaints about the city noise, we appreciated the quiet room at the back of Ashling House b&b

The rooms were a little outdated and could do with a splash of paint and perhaps a bigger tv would be nice. (We joked about watching "a little tv")

    Fabulous

The owner was very nice and helpful about how to move around in the city by bus. Easy to get to the center of city.

They didnt have milk at breakfast when we came downstairs, especially for the kids. They said they "ran out", that seemed strange knowing that for breakfast that's esential. The pillows we're not comfortable (for a person who likes firm pillows).
